Meet The Real Lanyard Lady

 My name is  Heidi LaMarca and I'm from Long Island, New York. I am the owner of The Lanyard Ladies, Inc. One summer, while working in a summer camp teaching campers how to make friendship bracelets and lanyard bracelets, I came up with the idea for The Lanyard Ladies.  The friendship bracelet & lanyard station was the most popular place to visit in camp. Kids went crazy to learn how to make these awesome bracelets.   
  One day the idea appeared as I thought "I bet friendship bracelets and lanyard birthday parties would be very popular." I thought about it a little and then a little more and then a little more and before long that was all I could think about.  I thought "What a great idea this is! I'm going to try it." I thought I would just do a few parties on the weekends to keep  busy and make some extra money but little did I know the success that was coming.   
This little idea grew so fast. The parties are a big hit and all the kids love them. The moment I really knew this was going to take off was when a little girl at a party looked at me and said "When I grow up,   I want to be a Lanyard Lady!" It was an amazing feeling that I inspired a child.

I am looking forward to seeing where this wonderful journey takes me.
